Please tell us an interesting life story: The first time I went to 4H I went to a different 4H group and we were loping and Rumbo bucked me off, so I got back on! Then I was going over a jump and I wasn’t ready for it and he went over it and I flew up and landed on his neck! But after that I got back on and we went home and I didn’t go back to that 4H group and I started doing ridding lessons with Carly and joined there 4H group!!

Please tell us an interesting life story: My first horseback ride was down in Bryce Canyon and I rode a big palomino gelding named Hollywood. A couple of months later my Dad signed us up for lessons with Megan. On my second lesson we were riding bareback and Harry tried to nip Keeper and she crow hopped and I fell off. I’m a lot better at staying on now.

Okay so two years ago ,I had just got my first horse. Her name is sunflower and she was only two. She had been kind of acting wired and during a lesson on Christmas Break she wasent doing so well. We decided to go and put her in a stall. I got a call that night saying sunny had lay down and was having a hard time getting up. They said that they would watch over her and call a vet. The next morning My father and I went over to see if she was okay. We went over and she was still laying down looking like a dead horse. I started to cry. The vet said she probably wouldn’t be able to live, but we tried. We pulled her up into a harness and she started to look better. But every time We let her stand on her own she would fall down. We had been hanesing her up for three weeks and we decided just to let her go. The next day my dad went to check on her to see if she was still standing. This was the last hope for sunny. She was laying down. We called the vet and told him to come and put her down. Madi came to this sad event and we were really sad. The vet came a miracle happened. He said she looked better. We all decided to give her one more chance. And with that she lived. She is now a healthy four year old and is doing great. We all call her The Miracle horse. That is how she got her name. Little Miss Miracle’s Sunflower. = )

But all I can say is my lesson was a cold day!! But it was snowy and all the water was frozen sort of. Well Kristine decided I had been riding long enough and wanted me to lope. So I was like YEAH COURSE I WILL!!! Well the horse I was riding is kinda fast and she bucked. I’m like 50 pounds and I go FLYING! I landed in the trough and the horse pulled me out and dragged me out and onto the snow… that was the worst day of my life. THE END
